I am Dr. Máté Kertész. I work as a project, programme and portfolio manager, university lecturer and project management trainer.
In 2010 I graduated from the University of Debrecen with a degree in Political Science and Law, and in 2015 I obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
I have been working in IT project management since 2008. I have gained professional experience in large companies such as Deutsche Telekom, IBM, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, DXC Technology and Citibank. I was primarily responsible for managing strategic programmes. I delivered complex projects for strategic customers like Lufthansa, E.ON, Continental, KION Group, Hungarian Electricity Company (MVM), National Business Services (NÜSZ), Hungarian National Asset Management (MNV), Volánbusz and Natural Gas Services Zrt.
In 2018, my professional work was recognised by the Project Management Excellence Board with the “Project Manager of the Year” award.
In addition to my practical activities, between 2020 and 2022 I was Vice President of the Project Management Institute Budapest Chapter. I am also a lecturer at the Corvinus University of Budapest and regularly hold in-house training courses on practical project management.
